Apple makes the hardware and the software giving them total control over the entire process. When Microsoft builds Windows they have to make it capable of running on virtually anything out there ditto for iphone 3gs battery draining fast they only control the software, what if the problem lies in the hardware there is only so much that can be done by tweaking software. Same goes for Dell, Gateway, Sony, and Motorola.
If software that doesn’t play well with your hardware is installed you are totally dependent on the software vendor to create a patch. Many times the hardware is already in the consumers hands.
If Apple in their testing stages uncovers a problem they can tweak either hardware or software whichever is the best fix. Thats why iphone 3gs battery draining fast eventually switched from a PC to a Mac. I may have given up some flexibility but I gained reliability.
For me I would rather use a product then spend time with tech support downloading drivers and tweaking settings, and in all my time with Apple products it all works the way its supposed to work.
As far as the antenna problem only a handful of the people who purchased iPhone 4 had that complaint. The press made it more than what it was.So to me what it all boils down to is this.
If you want greater control of what you can or cannot do wider choice of manufacturer and wireless carrier then Android is the choice for you. If you want products that work the way they are iphone 3gs battery draining fast supposed to work than Iphone 4 is the way to go. I know not everyone shares my opinion, but that is the way I see it. Please feel free to comment. This concludes my iPhone 4 vs Android comparison.
The processor on the EVO is a 1.2 Gig duo core for one of the fastest speed out there, the iPhone 4 does not have a published speed on its A4 processor although most people who review it place it at approx 1 Gig. So far the EVO appears to win out on speed and I know people who owned both phones that would attest to that. The EVO has 4 Gigs of internal memory expandable to 36 Gigs with a 32 Gig micro SD card.
The iPhone 4 has up to a 32 Gig internal memory that is not expandable. Both phones support mobile hotspot, this is where you can make the phone take its 3 or 4G signal and convert it into WiFi and connect up to 5 devices to it.
